Favorite Things: NARS Concealer and Skin Drink FaceTime Primer

Hi friends! Happy Friday! We made it to another weekend! And its a gorgeous day here in Houston!

Welcome to my first post called “Favorite Things”! For some time now I have wanted to start posting about some of my favorite things. I always love hearing about great products that other people like and would recommend. Don’t you? I hope to update you with my Favorite Things on a weekly basis so check in often!

First up is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30). It was recommend to me by one of the associates at Sephora when I went in for my usual Stila concealer but they didn’t carry it anymore. Don’t you hate when that happens? I desperately needed concealer so I went with their recommendation that day. I’m so glad I did. I love this stuff! Even better than my Stila. It goes on so smooth with just the right amount of coverage! Why didn’t I know about this sooner!

“Coveted by artists for its luxurious texture and luminous finish, new Radiant Creamy Concealer evens skin with lightweight medium to high buildable coverage. Enriched with hydrating, multi-action skincare benefits and light diffusing technology, it creates a softer, smoother complexion while instantly obscuring imperfections and diminishing fine lines and signs of fatigue.”

It comes in 16 shades so you are sure to find one that suits your skin tone!

Second up, is the Skin Drink Phytoceuticals FaceTime Primer ($32). Another, why didn’t I know about this sooner! I recently did a post called “Can An Organic Skin Care Line Really Fight the Affects of Aging?” about the Skin Drink Phytoceuticals products that I use, but at that time I had not tried the Primer yet. I mostly use it around my eyes. I’m pretty sure that it helps my NARS concealer go on extra smooth 🙂

What it is and what it does:

This silky blend of antioxidants and vitamins quickly minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines.

It is a lightweight formula that can be worn over your moisturizer and under your make up to create a smoother-than-smooth canvas. It can also be used over make up throughout the day to mattify shine, especially in the T-zone. It’s so translucent, no one will know you’re wearing anything!

It is non-comedogenic, silica based, so it allows the skin to breathe and never clog pores.

It can be used around eyes to make concealer glide on and not look flakey. Eye make up stays put and goes on flawlessly too!

Don’t wear make-up but still want need to hide pores and get rid of shine? Wear it alone over any moisturizer.

This unique formula contains 10 herbal extracts and vitamins to support collagen.

So there you have it! My first Favorite Things post! I’d love to hear if you try either of these products and how you liked them.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
